At Yutan Youth Football, we are dedicated to cultivating the next generation of Chieftain athletes. Our youth tackle football program emphasizes camaraderie, comprehensive development, safety, and fun, while ensuring a positive and competitive experience for all participants.
Open to Yutan area 3rd - 6th graders in the Fall of 2025, Yutan Youth Football will have two teams in the Great Plains Youth Football League (Great Plains Football). The 3rd and 4th grade will play together in the Pee Wee division. The 5th and 6th grade will play together in the Jr. Midget division.
Boomer Hollst and Jay Hoellen are leading the organization and are currently assembling the coaching staffs for both teams. Cody Cardin and Isaiah Daniell have committed to work with Jr. Midget team (5th/6th). A large number of parents have expressed interest in helping with the Pee Wee team (3rd/4th). The support of the High School staff is paramount to this program, and we are excited to have Coach Dan Krajicek involved as a resource.
Yutan athletes have been competing with various local teams over the past few years. We want to bring them back together and start developing the teamwork that will carry over into Junior High and High School. We will implement as much of the Chieftain terminology, concepts, drills and plays as we can at these ages.
We still need your help! Coaching, chain gang, concessions, PA announcer at home games, etc. there is a ton that goes into this operation. There is a spot for everyone to help develop our future Chieftains!
Fees for each player will be $100. This will cover league registration, game uniform, practice uniform, pants, game socks, shoulder pads and helmets.
